Bianca Zorzam

Bianca Zorzam is a midwife graduated in obstetrics (USP-2008), living in São Paulo. She has a master’s degree in Health Sciences (School of Public Health, USP- 2013) and is currently a PhD student (School of Public Health, USP).She worked as a senior midwife at Casa Angela, a birthing home of the Brazilian public system, for 8 years. She is a home midwife at Grupo Parteras La Mare, since 2013. Zorzam is currently studying midwifery from a decolonial perspective with practices of traditional midwives and midwives who have direct graduation in midwifery in Brazil.
