Heba Farajallah

Heba Farajallah is a midwife and a PhD student at the University of Aberdeen. Her PhD looks at maternity care experiences of refugee and asylum-seeking women in Scotland. She has worked in the Gaza strip- Palestine as a midwife and worked with Palestinian refugee women by background. Her MSc degree was about women’s experiences of maternity care in the Arab region. The main finding of the thesis was a dehumanizing birth experience for some women.
